Penny Severns Memorial Scholarship Recipient
We want to congratulate Crystal Rodriguez-Garcia (pictured above with Co-president Kim Savage), the recipient of our Penny Severns Memorial Scholarship.
Crystal serves as the Constituent Services and Grants Manager for U.S. Representative Jesús G. “Chuy” García. In this role, she oversees casework management, coordinates immigration workshops, manages grants, and supports partners in securing federal funding. She has a bachelor’s degree in Economics with a minor in Political Science and International Relations from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
She is now pursuing a Master’s degree at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy.
